  • How do I make an appointment?
Please call 312-608-2928 for an initial consultation.
  • Can I make an appointment for a friend or loved one?
Please encourage your friend or loved one to call me, as I will need to speak with them directly to schedule an appointment.
  • Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I am in-network with Aetna PPO/POS and Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO.
  • What if I have a different insurance provider?
Many plans offer out-of-network benefits. In this case, payment would be due at the time of service, and I am happy to provide you with documentation that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
  • How long are appointments?
    Appointments are 55 minutes.
  • What can I expect from my first appointment?
You will discuss your concerns and reasons for seeking therapy, and I will share my initial impressions and possible treatment options. Together, we will decide if I am the right person to address your goals in ongoing therapy. At times, another provider or type of service may be recommended to best suit your needs.
  • Is therapy confidential?
Yes, therapy is confidential, and information can only be released with your written permission. However, there are a few exceptions in which I legally am required to share information. These include if you pose a danger to yourself or someone else, if there is suspected child or elder abuse or neglect, and in response to a court order. Your privacy is very important; please ask me if you have any questions about privacy practices.
  • Are you offering telehealth (virtual) visits?
Yes, my practice is exclusively virtual. I offer virtual therapy sessions using a HIPAA-compliant video platform, so that you can receive care conveniently from the safety of your home.
